Since the day I learned what Etsy was, I knew I would have a shop on here someday. At the time I was the jack of all trades - I was an all around hot glue fiend. I proceeded to obtain a Graphic Arts Degree, (followed by an Information Technology and Visual Communication Degree) and opened a photo studio. I played with graphic design on the side, never knowing what my style was, so I gave myself assignments fun assignments creating patterns for no reason.
When I realized I had one of those 'invisible diseases' that make your life downright impossible on some days, but no one can see it - I had to make a choice about where I wanted future to go. So I dove into graphic design. I had a stockpile of patterns already existing, so opened up my Etsy shop and listed away. I always had this secret dream to become an event designer so creating party supplies was my first endeavor - and one of my favorites!
But I quickly realized my patterns could do so much more, and as I began to expand my products - first to wall art, and invites, and scrapbooking supplies (oh my) - I received my first inquiry for a pillow case. Not being a great seamstress I looked for manufacturers, and after seeing my limited options - that's when my brand was born.
Each item being it's own unique one-of-a-kind art piece was important to me. All of my supplies are American made, and many are outsourced from local artisans and even Etsy sellers! To ensure I had the most amount of control over the products I learned new trades like screen printing, transfer processes, and apply them to natural materials such as wood, canvas and linen.
I believe in quality materials, and wholesome design. All of my prints are archival, and created to stand the test of time, my accessories are made one at a time to ensure love and care with every piece. I want my customers to view my shop as a place they can feel safe to be happy in. My designs are playful chic, and perfect for the modern mom.
